Located in Povoação village, this restored former school sits on the lush landscape of Azores. The pet-friendly Quinta Atlantis offers modern rooms and Atlantic Ocean views from a distance. The Quinta gives home to various animals: a sweet but stubborn donkey, a family of goats for your breakfast cheese, chicken and ducks for your eggs as well as Laika, our loyal dog ( kid friendly) and Gaspard , the old boycat of the house.

Offering plenty of natural light, each Atlantis’ bright room includes an individual themed-décor and parquet floors. Some rooms include sloped ceilings with exposed wooden beams. Bathrooms are shared or private andinclude free toiletries and a bathrobe.

A breakfast buffet is served daily. There is a variety of restaurants within a 1.5 km radius.

Staff can organise activities for guests, from horseback riding to fishing, swimming with dolphins and whale watching. After returning to Atlantis, guests can enjoy a quiet evening in the reading room.

Children can have fun in the remaining class room, with ancient desks and chairs, while adults entertain themselves with games, books, and DVDs.

The charming village of Furnas is 10 km away. Ponta Delgada’s João Paulo II Airport is a 60-minute drive away from Quinta Atlantis.
